Here’s what to look out for as BSB heads to the fastest circuit on the calendar… Thruxton!

1. Ducati are flying high

Ducati haven’t won at Thruxton since 2019 but given how PBM riders Tommy Bridewell and Glenn Irwin’s seasons are going you’d not bet against them.

Bridewell has taken things up a notch with five wins in the last six. He hasn’t been beaten in the dry since race three at Knockhill – and that was by Irwin.

Thruxton is perfect for even more entertaining, bar-to-bar combat between the two. Irwin needs to bounce back sooner rather than later, too.

Oxford Products Racing Ducati’s Christian Iddon has turned things around this season with a double podium at Brands Hatch – and he podiumed at Thruxton in 2021.
