‘Toprak will make the BMW a World Champion bike’

“He’s done it for the money. Forget future career success. Another rider taken in by BMW’s huge promises.” That’s what lots of people are saying in and around the World Superbike community after it was announced last week that Toprak Razgatlioglu’s Yamaha tenure is to end after three years in favour of BMW.

But would manager Kenan Sofuoglu, who views Toprak as a son more than a colleague, really allow his superstar to be lured into something for cash alone?
