Kawasaki’s all new ZX-10R is about to be launched at Sepang, Malaysia and MCN Senior Road Tester Adam ‘Chad’ Child is the lucky man to be riding the bike in the scorching 38-degree heat.
The ZX-10R has already been launched at a small track in Australia back in December (we printed the full report in the December 2 issue), but Chad will get the opportunity to ride the new ZX-10R on race slicks on a much faster and more demanding track with former WSBK Champion Tom Sykes as an instructor – and answer more qustions about the bike’s performance.

Sykes played a pivotal role in developing the new bike, and Kawasaki claim this is the closest thing to a factory world superbike. The new 2016 may appear slightly similar but there’s been a huge amount of changes to the engine, chassis, suspension, fairing, electronics, brakes and exhaust. Every part of the bike has been examined in fine detail. The new ZX-10 now complies with tight new Euro 4 regulations.

The first batch of bikes will be arriving in the UK very shortly, prices start at £13,649 for a standard bike,  £13,799 for the KRT Edition, and £14,399 for the Winter edition. You will be able to read Adam’s impressions this Wednesday’s MCN, with an extensive group test following shortly.
