Honda NC700X is brilliant

I took a Honda NC700X for a road test recently and ordered one as soon as I got back to the showroom.

I’ve traded in a 2010 Kawasaki Z1000 – a great bike in all respects. The biggest problem I had was worrying what would come in the post for two weeks after every ride. 

I travel many miles a year and the increase in money making machines (sorry, safety cameras) is amazing! As fines are reportedly going to increase to £100 in the future, I will assume even more safety cameras in operation.

The NC700X makes perfect sense. I quickly got used to short shifting and found plenty of power up tp 80mph. Comfortable riding position, great all-round visibility, cruises at 80mph no problem, decent wind protection and I can collect beer on way home!

I found this bike a blast on quieter back roads where the suspension soaks up uneven roads.

Well done to honda in producing a good looking bike that offers all round ability at a sensible price.
