Staff bikes: Ducati Diavel - It's almost time!

My excitement is mounting by the bucket load as after a few weeks of waiting I have finally been given the date for collection of my Ducati Diavel long termer for 2011.

On Monday I’ll be getting the train to Ducati Coventry for a 12 o’clock pickup then straight on to Road Angel at Silverstone to start the ball rolling for what is my main priority ‘Security’.

They’re going to be fitting a tracker to go with my small arsenal of locks and chains.
Once home it’ll be secured in a big way by a Xena XC10-150 chain with XSU69 lock, Xena XGA ground anchor and an ABUS Detecto 8000 alarmed disk lock.

All this to hopefully make sure my pride and joy stays exactly that and MCN’s insurance premium doesn’t get a 15 grand kicking!

After that it’s roll on the weekend and fingers crossed for some decent weather!
