Staff bikes: Enfield Clubman - Coppers can't touch me!

My previous entry, on the subject of top speed runs on the road, was met with a few comments on the logic of my admission to speeds well in excess of 85mph on the queen’s highway.

Well, after taking a colleague to work who had the MCN Ride Logger iPhone app activated in his pocket, I reckon the boys in blue have bigger fish to fry.

For I can gleefully announce that my indicated top speed of 92mph this morning equates to a true, GPS-datalogged 79mph.

OK, so it’s still 9mph over the legal limit on the dual carriageway, but anyone copper willing to pull me over for that needs to brace themselves for a Road Cops-style lecture on catching real criminals.
