Join MCN's VFR1200F test - NOW CLOSED

We’re doing our VFR1200F group test next week (Tuesday 26th/Wednesday 27th) and want a prospective VFR12 buyer to join us.

It’ll involve two, full days riding starting early on the Tuesday in Peterborough, riding probably down to Cornwall for an overnight stop before returning evening Wednesday.

The other bikes are: BMW K1300S, Triumph Sprint 1050 and (for comparison of sporting ability) Honda‘s FireBlade.

The other riders are MCN Chief Road Tester Trevor Franklin, Senior Road Tester Adam Child and photographer Mykel Nicolaou.

Good bits: The chance to ride the VFR (and rivals) weeks before anyone else, be in MCN, all expenses paid, you’ll be covered on our insurance and you’ll have (we promise) an experience you’ll never forget.

Bad bits: You’ll have to make you own way to Peterborough and bring your own good winter kit. You’ll also need to have no qualms about riding all day this time of year (pretty much no matter what the weather), go along with what’s required of you by Trevor and Adam, be questioned about the bikes etc etc.

Requirements: Min 10 years riding experience, brisk rider (preferably some evidence of advanced riding, track or race experience, ideally, but not vital), full clean licence, dependable and reliable (eg, any hint that, er, you can’t make it after all is no good), recent owning experience of this class of bike, genuine potential buyer of new VFR.

Deadline: Thursday evening (21st). The chosen one will be decided Friday 22nd.
