Tom Sykes passes DAS test

Tom Sykes, who is currently third in the British Superbike Championship, recently passed his Direct Access Motorcycle Test with Mike from Maverick Motorcycle Training.

Tom travelled down from his home town of Huddersfield shortly after claiming two podium finishes in the BSB Championship round at Croft Race Circuit. 

Despite normally travelling at speeds of up to 180mph when on track, Tom soon settled into the pace of riding on the road to complete a four day course and succcessfully pass his test, much to his delight.

Tom Sykes, who despite just passing his test currently rides a Suzuki GSX-R1000 for the Rizla Suzuki Team, met Mike (his instructor) at Maverick Motorcycle Training- the Suzuki Approved Training School for Crescent.

Mavericke Motorcycle Training has also trained members of the Royal Signals White Helmets motorcycle display team, in fact Mel from the White Helmets passed her test only the week before Tom Sykes.
