Aprilia RSV1000 - Strawberry fields forever - almost

Here’s what happens when you hit mud strewn across the road from the exit of a strawberry field…

After locking the front but keeping upright, an excursion into the field saw our long term Aprilia RSV Mille came to an undignified halt in a heap, leading to some smashed bodywork and an £1800 repair bill. Ouch.

The bike was cautiously rideable after the accident, and luckily suspected frame and fork damage was avoided.
