Annual Distinguished Gentleman's Ride returns for 2025 in over 1000 cities around the globe

The annual Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) will return to over 1000 cities on May 18, 2025, gathering dapperly clad bikers aboard vintage-inspired machines from around the world to raise money for men’s health charity Movember.
Organisers expect this year’s event, which now celebrates its 13th birthday, to be the biggest yet, with a host of goodies available for the most successful fundraisers – including a grand prize of a brand-spanking Triumph from the firm’s modern classic range.
Other items up for grabs for the top contributors include MotoGP VIP experiences and Hedon helmets.

At the time of writing, Chicago’s John Rapacz occupies the top spot, with £8751 raised so far.
As they have been for the past decade, Movember is the primary recipient of money raised at the event. The charity’s work focuses on men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health – aiming to put a stop to the half a million male suicides that take place annually.
DGR also maintains a Veteran and First Responders programme, which provides support for community-based programmes that improve support for veterans and first responders across the United Kingdom, Australia, United States, Canada, New Zealand and Ireland.

“10 years ago, we knew we needed to do more for men’s health,” Mark Hawwa, Founder of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride said. “That’s why we partnered with Movember.”
“In the last 10 years, we have been proud to support men’s health on a global scale, in supporting the critical causes of prostate cancer and men’s mental health. Together with our community, we are proud to continue riding dapper for men’s health.”
In its inaugural year, DGR attracted a modest group of enthusiasts; fast forward to last year, and the event saw its strongest attendance ever, raising £5.5 million after 111,000 riders worldwide got involved and donned their finest threads.

Triumph returns this time around as the event’s main sponsor – as they have done for the past 12 years.
Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Stroud added: “This is Triumph’s twelfth year as the Official Motorcycle Partner for The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, which brings riders around the world together to raise awareness and funds to support men’s mental and physical health.
“Every year the DGR gets bigger, reaching and involving even more men and women across the world, in a way that represents the best aspects of our global motorcycle community, giving each of us the opportunity to help our fellow gentlemen.

“As well as raising even more funds for research through our involvement, we hope to increase awareness and encourage men to talk more about their health, helping them seek timely advice and support.”
In the UK, there are 69 locations stretching from Taunton to Aberdeen set to host their own DGRs, with riders able to sign up now. Head to gentlemansride.com for more.
