Desmo inbound! Ducati announce price for Desmo450 MX ahead of summer debut

Ducati’s championship winning Desmo450 MX is now ready to appear in dealerships from June with a retail price of £11,245.
Ducati Cambridge, Ducati Leeds, Ducati Preston, Ducati North London, Chris Walker Motorcycles, GT Motorcycles and Millsport Motorcycles are all set to distribute the motocrosser following staff technical training.
As well as soon being available to customers, the bike officially made its World Championship debut this year, with Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini piloting the 450 for the factory Ducati team.

The announcement is acompanied by the news that the Bologna manufacturer will soon launch a new MX experience across multiple sites throughout the UK from July to Novemeber, headed by former top international rider turned instructor Barry Johnson.

If the 450 sounds like it might be overkill for your riding, then fear not, because Ducati Corse R&D has got something a little milder up their sleeves. They’re deep into developing a brand-new Desmo250 MX, which is set to make its debut in the Italian MX2 Championship.
Factory rider Alessandro Lupino will team up with MX legend Antonio Cairoli to fine-tune the bike, shaping it into the future production version of the 250MX.
