Boorman's epic tales on the Adventure Base Camp stage at Devitt Insurance MCN London Motorcycle Show

Fans will be delighted to hear globe-trotting TV motorcyclist Charley Boorman will make his Devitt Insurance MCN London Motorcycle Show comeback at ExCel next month, hosting the Adventure Base Camp Stage sponsored by Oxford Products. After the stage proved an enormously popular feature last year, Charley Boorman’s Adventure Base Camp is set to entertain and inspire once again across all three days of the event.
Boorman will be hosting the Adventure Base Camp Stage at the London show from February 14-16 alongside Guinness World Record Holders, The Sidecar Guys. With heaps of hilarious stories and riding insights from some of Boorman’s two-wheel travels, there’ll be plenty for showgoers to enjoy.

Tall tales from the road
Charley Boorman and long-time travel buddy Ewan McGregor took adventure riding mainstream with their ground-breaking and massively popular Long Way series. They are set to return to our screens shortly with the Long Way Home, which sees Boorman and McGregor ride through 15 different countries. This time however, rather than being on BMW GSs or Harley LiveWires the globe-trotting pair are on classics, with McGregor onboard a 1974 Moto Guzzi Eldorado police bike, and Boorman riding a BMW R75/5. Watch out for the series airing on Apple TV this year.
Stories from that trip are being kept under wraps for now but Charley will be spilling the beans on previous adventures with some unmissable yarns spun across the show weekend.

Marc Deri

Marc has just returned from travelling across one of the most diverse continents in the world. South America. His 23 Bhp Honda CRF250 carried him over 21000km from the Amazon Rainforest to the Andes mountains. Amazingly, apart from camping in the cartel controlled areas of Colombia, destroying his suspension and fuel pump in the deserts of Bolivia and having to drag his bike and himself to safety over a deserted mountain top in the Patagonian Andes, he’s got very little to say about his trip. Not to worry, we’re sure he’ll find a story or two to tell you. Besides, he’s got some amazing photos to show you if you get bored.
