A new/old stock Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, still in its original transport crate from 2005, will be sold with Iconic Auctioneers at the upcoming Devitt MCN London Motorcycle Show in February.

The bike will go up for sale at the ExCel London exhibition hall on Sunday, February 16 as part of a larger auction during the three-day show. It will also available to view in person on both the Friday and Saturday of the event.

Finished in Honda’s MotoGP-inspired orange Repsol livery, the bike is said to have been recently imported from Hong Kong, having been in long-term storage as ex-dealer stock, still in its original packaging.

It’s unregistered and not on the NOVA system – effectively making it a brand-new analogue superbike, despite being 20 years old. According to the advert, the bike has been removed from its packaging and started, however it has since been placed back in its box.

It comes with two keys, an unopened book pack, plus the screen and mirrors. The cardboard box cover also features the bike’s vin and engine numbers, meaning it can be matched to the model itself.

As you would expect, it’s likely to be the best kept example of this particular motorcycle left in the UK and goes under the hammer with a guide price of between £10,000 and £15,000. That might sound like a lot, but a modern-day Honda Fireblade with the same number of miles starts at £23,499 and climbs to £26,749 for the Carbon Edition.
