Motorcycle safety roadshows revealed for five cities across Scotland in Feb 2025

Motorcyclists across Scotland are invited to attend a new weeklong safety roadshow aimed at reducing biker-related incidents.
Following the success of two similar events in Elgin last February, organisers have expanded the initiative to five cities for 2025.
To tackle the disproportionate number of motorcyclists involved in road collisions, the free to attend events will bring expert speakers together to pass on life-saving advice.

The five-day tour kicks off on Monday, February 17, in Glasgow, moving to Edinburgh on Tuesday, Dundee on Wednesday, Aberdeen on Thursday, before rounding out the tour Inverness on Friday.
Doors open at 6pm, with talks running until 9pm, featuring insights from Police Scotland Road Policing, Biker Down (Scottish Fire & Rescue Service), Motorcycle Law Scotland, IAM RoadSmart, Local Roads Authorities, and other special guests. A panel Q&A session will also take place.
Organisers expect around 200 attendees each night, with funds raised for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.

The event is backed by motorcycle dealers, including Shirlaws Motorcycles, Two Wheels, and West Coast Harley-Davidson and Triumph.
Attendees will also be entered into a prize draw featuring gear from Sportsbikeshop, Mr Moto, Kawasaki, Triumph, BMW Motorrad Inverness, Honda, and more.
Shirlaws is offering attendees a free Shoei personal fitting system session worth £50 at their Aberdeen dealership.
Tickets are free, with refreshments provided. More information can be found on the event website.
