Ducati open Sunderland based dealership and service centre in partnership with Vertu Motors

Ducati have opened a new Sunderland-based motorcycle dealership and service centre. 

Located alongside Vertu BMW Motorrad at Boldon Business Park, the store represents the Italian marque’s first venue in partnership with automotive retail giant Vertu Motors and follows more than two years of discussions between both parties. 

Vertu Motors Ducati Sunderland will offer Ducati’s full range of new and approved used bikes, alongside associated aftermarket accessories and branded apparel. There is also an onsite workshop on hand to deal with servicing and repair work. 

Chris Taylor, Operations Director at Vertu Motors, told MCN: “We’re proud to welcome Ducati alongside our other motorcycle brands and we’re incredibly excited about our future together.” 

Fabrizio Cazzoli, Head of Ducati UK, added: “I’m very pleased with the relationship that we have managed to build between both teams and now, finally, we have the opening of the showroom. 

“The public reaction has been very positive so far. People have told me just how much they wanted this to exist and now we have so many happy people here celebrating the opening.

“With Vertu Motors having such a large distribution network around the country and such a high level of organisation, I see that there is potential for other stores around the country.”
