Used bike specialists, Superbike Factory are opening a new Crawley site, which was formerly the home of multi-franchise dealership P&H Motorcycles.

The West Sussex venue will become the sixth Superbike location, following additional recent expansion in both Milton Keynes and Bristol.

Superbike Factory CEO, Edward Armitage

“This new showroom in Crawley will enable us to better serve riders across Sussex and nearby areas,” Superbike Factory CEO, Edward Armitage said. “Its prime location, with excellent transport links, will help us reach new customers between London and Brighton and meet the demand we’ve been experiencing in the South.”

Superbike’s new showroom has been used for selling motorcycles since 1980, with previous owners P&H housing multiple brands including KTM, Kawasaki, and Yamaha.

More recently, in July 2023, they also became a main dealer for British concern Norton Motorcycles, now owned by Indian firm TVS. P&H had also offered motorcycle riding kit, accessories, and had ties to rider training.

Instead, the new facility will provide showroom space for a claimed 400 used bikes alongside accessories, plus servicing and MoTs. Part exchanges and finance options are also said to be available.

P&H Motorcycles are not the only large motorcycle dealership to close in recent months. Sticking with the south of England, multi-franchise Colchester Kawasaki are also closing their doors, with the premises currently listed for sale with a freehold guide price of £2.5million.
