The brand have achieved a number of world firsts for electric transportation, including the only successful, unassisted crossing of the African continent by battery bike. Sinje Gottwald completed her record breaking ride in February 2023, rolling into Cape Town after 124 days on the road.

Following this milestone, Cake equipped duo, Jackie Rosenstein and Bobbie Long undertook a 3333 mile adventure across the U.S, securing them the prestige of being the first women to cross the country bike electric motorcycle.

A UK spokesperson told MCN that business here would continue during the current audit stage of the bankruptcy process, with hopes of future investment. The exact future for the brand remains unknown at this time.
