No ordinary Blade! James Toseland’s WSBK Championship winning Honda for sale in Sheffield for £150k
Racing enthusiasts are in with the chance of owning the Ten Kate Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade that James Toseland piloted to victory in the 2007 World Superbike championship.
Having taken the British racer to his second global title (following his first win in the 2004 season), this bona fide piece of racing history is now up for grabs through The Bike Specialists in Sheffield for the hefty asking price of £149,999 – making it the most expensive item currently in their inventory.

Included in that figure is a personal handover from Toseland himself, with the opportunity to snap a picture and have the bike signed also on the table, should the buyer want to.

Toseland has been the sole custodian of the Honda since it bested the competition in the 2007 season, keeping it in his own personal collection where it has remained, until now, for the past 17 years.
Barring a refresh of consumable items, the 230bhp machine has gone unchanged from its time on the professional racing circuit, giving prospective buyers the chance to own possibly the ultimate trackday or parade lap tool, in original, undisturbed trim – even down to the gaffer tape on the top yoke.
Describing the Honda, Toseland said: “It holds some of my most cherished memories of my racing career. It gave me the double victory at Brands Hatch on that memorable weekend where 126,000 fans cheered the bike across the line to win both races.

“It was able to beat a factory Ducati with the great Troy Bayliss on board at Phillip Island. It was able to beat Max Biaggi at Brno. Two of my greatest victories in my career aboard this incredible motorcycle.”
Those interested should contact The Bike Specialists, where viewings can be arranged, and more information is available. A “small deposit” is reportedly sufficient to secure the unique machine, with full UK delivery available, too.
