Harley-Davidson’s European Bike Week will rumble into Austria from September 3-8, giving cruiser fans the chance to meet like-minded enthusiasts in a festival-style setting.

Now in its 26th year, the 2024 celebration will pay tribute to the lifetime’s work of Willie G. Davidson – grandson of company co-founder William A. Davidson, and former head of design for the Milwaukee brand.

Davidson will be honoured at the event through imagery of his work, as well as mementos including a limited-edition clothing range. A number of classic Harleys he helped see through to production will also be on display throughout the celebration.

The festival itself will take place in Faak am See in the south of the country, within a special 40,000 square metre Harley Village. Here, there will also be the chance to get up close and personal with the latest H-D model line-up, as well as buy merchandise, parts, and accessories.

Test rides will also be available, as well as free guided tours through Carinthia, Austria, and neighbouring Slovenia run by the H.O.G. Carinthia Chapter.

If off-road is more your thing then tutorials and displays aboard the Pan America 1250 Special adventure bike will be running in the Adventure Zone, with instructors including the UK’s own Dakar Rally legend Mick Extance, as well as Ralf Wiesenfeller of Germany, and Italian rider Marco Belli.

Taking place in the heart of the festival site, demonstrations will also be performed by Harley-Davidson ambassador and double Dakar stage winner, Joan Pedrero of Spain.

Elsewhere, you’ll find live music including two country and rock performances from The BossHoss in the remains of Finkenstein Castle in Carinthia.

The action will then continue across two stages, who will welcome 40 live bands. Further entertainment also includes pyrotechnic and airborne drone shows, too.
