With nine-time world champion, Tony Cairoli at the helm, the Desmo450 MX achieved a respectable seventh place in Saturday’s qualifying, followed by fifteenth place in Sunday’s main event.
Cairoli said: “We bring home an excellent test for the bike. Our goal was to test the Desmo450 MX in extreme conditions, and I had very positive feelings.

“After three years away from the GPs it was definitely not an easy race for me, especially on a difficult track like this”.
Next year, the bike will see further action at the MXGP as well as being entered into public production. An enduro model is also planned for the future as is a smaller 250cc motocrosser. Visit ducati.com for more.
