MCN man smokes 'em: Bruce Dunn clinches 2022 Blue Haze Championship

1 of 1

MCN tester and workshop guru, Bruce Dunn, wrapped up the 2022 BMCRC Blue Haze GP championship with one round to spare, following a successful 2022 campaign aboard his Yamaha TZ250.

With the series run as part of the British Motorcycle Racing Club (known to all as Bemsee), Dunn took the title aboard a heavily modified 2001 TZ250 5KE2 – the same model of bike he used to clinch the 2002 ACU National Championship.

Going into the final round of 2022, the MCN man enjoyed a healthy gap of 142 points – enough to lift the crown and leave the final weekend as something to just enjoy rather than needing to battle hard.

Alongside his racing with Bemsee, Bruce also piloted the bike at a number of successful meetings with NG Road Racing – taking podiums and wins before focusing more on the Blue Haze series. A huge well done from all of us at MCN!
