A Yorkshire council district has become the latest to allow motorcycles to use bus lanes.
Calderdale Council in West Yorkshire, which includes Halifax, Brighouse and Sowerby Bridge, has now joined a majority of others nationwide in allowing motorcycles and other powered two-wheelers to ride in the previously restricted lanes.

The move comes after lobbying by Councillor Amanda Parsons-Hulse, Chair of Transport Scrutiny for the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
She said: “Over 70% of UK councils are already doing this and I am pleased Calderdale Council has decided to let these riders use our bus lanes.”
Now just to convince the rest of the country that bikes are best.
