Ducati have announced a new custom program, allowing riders to commission one-off bespoke machines, produced in partnership with the firm’s central design department.

Launched on January 27, the new initiative called ‘Ducati Unica’ will see customers work directly with the Bologna firm’s designers and technicians to create their dream machines, with each bike delivered with a certificate of uniqueness.

Would-be owners can choose from a range of finishes, precious materials, performance accessories and more – with every stage of the creation process documented, including the initial design sketches.

Examples already outlined by Ducati include a Superleggera V4 superbike, complete with a glossy blue and black paint job, and a one-off Streetfighter V4 finished with strips of matt camo and Italian-flag Brembo brake calipers.

Customers wanting to enter the program can do so through their local dealership, with Ducati only able to accept a very limited number of projects each year.
