A group of 300 female bikers from the Southwest have launched a charity calendar to raise money for ovarian cancer support group, Ovacome.

Known as the Bristol Biking Girls, the online ladies-only collective created the product in memory of former member, Chilie Davies, from Pill, Somerset, who died of cancer more than two-years-ago.

“She was kind, warm and friendly: always the one to check that everyone else was okay,” says Stephanie Robertson, 34, from Bristol, who founded the group in October 2016 as a means of finding others to ride with locally.

“Biking has brought this community together, so it was important to remember one of our own,” she continued.

All of the photos of the 40 featured women were taken by two photographers within the group, with the cover art also designed internally. The hope is to sell at least 500 copies, with over 292 already sold at the time of writing.

Each calendar is priced at £10, with a further £3.50 needed for postage and packaging. Those wanting to make a purchase can do so by emailing bristolbikinggirls@outlook.com or by visiting the group’s Facebook or Instagram pages. Copies can also be picked up at Riders Motorcycles dealership, in Bristol.
