Virtual Motorcycle Live show set for November 21-29

The annual ritual of heading to Birmingham to kick tyres, squeeze levers and twist throttles before stocking up on a mass of biking bargains whether we need them or not has been hit by coronavirus – so this year’s Motorcycle Live will take place online rather than at the NEC.

Orgainsers of the annual event announced the cancellation of the 2020 show back on Monday, June 8. Instead, the virtual show will be hosted at www.motorcyclelive.co.uk and will include not only galleries and info on the new bikes but video content with various celebrities and star racers.

There will also be discount codes and offers on kit, if you’re used to heading to the NEC to get your biking discounts. Best of all, it’s completely free and there won’t be any grumbles about car parking or expensive burgers.

The online show runs from Saturday, November 21, to Sunday, November 29, and just like the normal live show there will be various themes, such as an Adventure day and BSB day.

With any luck this will be a one-off happening, with plans already underway for the physical show to return in November 2021. In the mean time, we’ll have to kick our own tyres in the garage at home.
