Know any lockdown legends? Triumph wants you to nominate them for a gift box

Triumph have announced they are celebrating the UK’s lockdown heroes with a new social media campaign called #TriumphTogether.

The Hinckley-based company is asking people to nominate people in their local areas who’ve gone over and above during Covid-19. It could be anyone you think has made a difference, such as frontline nurses, delivery drivers, shelf stackers or someone doing something remarkable from home.

Triumph is sending these heroes gift boxes to thank them for the part they’ve played. The boxes include a special award, a voucher for the Triumph Visitor Experience (once reopen) and a Great British Tea Hamper.

The first box was handed out today by Triumph ambassador and former England rugby star David Flatman to NHS front line worker and personal friend Charlotte Chylewski, from Bath.

Flatman chose her for his lockdown hero for her selfless work and community support, while also supporting her young child. He said: “Charlotte is one of our incredible NHS workers putting her health on the line to help save others. There’s no gift in the world that can really acknowledge the sacrifice she, and many other NHS workers are making on a daily basis, but if turning up on her door and surprising her with a prize can help put a smile on her face for even a moment then it’s worth it.”

You can watch a video of the presentation here.

The box was delivered with full social distancing measures adhered to.

To nominate your own heroes, simply head to Triumph’s social media channels on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and explain why their local hero deserves the box. Entries close on Monday, June 8.
