BMW have this evening announced a range of new colours for their 2021 F750GS, F850GS and F850GS Adventure models, including a striking black and yellow livery to mark 40 years of the revered GS name badge.

Snappily titled the ’40 Years of GS Edition’, the new bikes feature heavy lashings of black and gold, with yellow highlights on the handguards, seat, tank and plastics. A range of other, more conventional colours are also set to be introduced; including ‘Racing Red’ for the F850GS.

Alongside new paint and subtle revisions to the graphics, all three machines will feature LED indicators as standard too, plus a USB charging port to the front right of the dash. For an improved, safer riding experience, cornering ABS and traction control will also come specced on the base bike.

What’s more, the F850GS now also comes with an adjustable screen and high level GPS mount, as well as a TFT dash as standard.

For a little extra pep, BMW have also reworked the Dynamic riding mode, which is available as part of the ‘Pro riding modes’ optional extras package. Furthermore, you get engine braking control and Dynamic Brake Control, which counters panicked licks of throttle during an emergency stop. You can also pre-select up to four riding modes, which can be deployed via the right handlebar control.

These new bikes will hit dealers in September. Pricing is still to be confirmed at time of writing.
