McAMS Yamaha's Jason O'Halloran gives trackday tuition

Aussie BSB star Jason O’Halloran will be giving special one-to-one tuition at Almeria, courtesy of Focused Events, in an exclusive Golden Ticket promotion.

Open to all riders who are booked into Focused Events Almeria trackdays during January and February 2019, two lucky winners will be picked at random by Jason and then receive one-to-one training. The track events take place on January 16-18 and February 1-7, 2019.

O’Halloran joined the BSB grid in 2015 and finished thirteenth in his first season. He then finished fifth in 2016 and 2017, and eighth in 2018 despite suffering a broken ankle at Imola as a WSB wildcard.

His best results of the season came in May where he claimed a second place at Oulton Park and two further podiums at Brands Hatch in April and October.

If you’re not lucky enough to be attending the Almeria event, there will be other opportunities to get on track this year, some with current and ex-racers.

BSB stars Peter Hickman and Michael Laverty will be on hand for one-to-one tuition at a PacedayZ trackday at Circuito de Alcarras in Spain in October. There are places available for novice, intermediate and advanced riders.

Honda have announced the dates for 2019’s Ron Haslam Race School events, with 20 school dates from April 10, 2019, and have confirmed that the new CBR500R and CBR650R models will be available, too.

Also released are dates for Dave Thorpe’s Honda Adventure and Off-Road Centres, with the calendar kicking off March 14, 2019 for the Africa Twin-based Adventure centre, and January 12 for the CRF-based Off-Road courses.
