Yamaha UK announce Sport Touring Demo Weekend event

Yamaha will be showcasing their sports touring range on Saturday, 11 and Sunday, 12 May with a special weekend-long dealership event, allowing would-be buyers to test ride many of their latest mile-munching offerings.

Following in the footsteps of the popular MT Demo Weekend events, which last took place on 13 and 14 April 2019, participating dealers will allow riders to try out bikes including the Tracer 700 GT, Tracer 900 and FJR1300.

What’s more, there will also be the chance to sample the three-wheeled Niken, with this being the first national dealer event including the radical new machine.

As well as giving people the chance to try a wide range of bikes, the events will also emphasise the fact that time is fast running out to take advantage of 2.9% APR finance on all Yamaha Tracer models, with the deal coming to a close at the end of May.

To book your test ride, simply speak to your local dealer, or visit Yamaha’s website now. Model availability will vary between dealers and all those taking part will receive a complementary Yamaha powerpack.

Test bikes at the BSB

If you can’t wait that long to get your hands on a test ride, Yamaha will also be bringing a wide-range of machines to the first round of the British Superbike championship at Silverstone, which takes place this coming weekend.

This includes 10 standard Yamaha Nikens and 10 Niken GT models and almost the entirety of the firm’s mainstream two-wheeled fleet. What’s more, test rides from Ducati and Kawasaki will also be available.
