Limited edition Jeffrey Herlings KTM 450 SX-F released

KTM have released a special edition of their 450 SX-F motocross bike in honour of Jeffrey Herlings. The 2018 FIM MXGP Motocross World Champion took victory at his home race in Assen to seal the championship, and KTM wants to celebrate.

The limited edition version will hit dealers in January 2019 and has a host of upgrades including an Akrapovič Slip-on silencer, Hinson factory clutch cover and fuel tank. The Herlings replica is truly ready to race with Factory wheels, a composite skid plate, and race graphics.

“I was so pumped when I was told there would be a KTM 450 SX-F Herlings Replica,” said Herlings. “I’ve been with KTM all the way through my career, and we’ve worked through the hard times and celebrated a lot together – we are a family, not just in the paddock, but back in Austria too, so this bike is really special to me.”

Herlings has dominated this year’s championship, winning 31 of the 38 races so far. His teammate, Tony Cairoli is in second with a race to go, too.

“Following on from the Cairoli Replica we released some years ago, we wanted to honour Jeffrey’s achievements with his own,” said Joachim Sauer, KTM Senior Product Manager Offroad.

“This model has a special specification with Herlings’ design and is a great package for European riders looking for the ultimate ready to race machine.”
