Cagiva holds 40th anniversary event

2018 marks the 40th anniversary of the start of Italian motorbike manufacturer Cagiva. To celebrate, Cagiva Club Italia are promoting a rally at the MV Agusta complex in Schiranna, Italy on Sunday, September 16.

Organised by the Cagiva Historical Registry, the International Motoclub of Cascina Costa and Aermacchi Historical Registry and the 100HP Motoclub, the event will see Cagiva, Aermacchi and MV Agusta motorcycles together with Husqvarna, Ducati and Moto Morini models, all brands bought and re-launched by Claudio Castiglioni.

The rally celebrates Cagiva’s sporting history which covers GP 500 championship, the Paris-Dakar, motocross and production bike classes. It starts at 9am with events running through the day including a ride out and a “rev-up”. An indoor area will host the most important production and racing models built at Schiranna from 1950 until the present day.
