Get the spirit of adventure at this year’s Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show

The Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show is just around the corner, with it comes one of the most exciting line-up of globe trotters anywhere to impart their infinite wisdom and give the best tips and advice for those who are thinking of tackling big distances on two wheels. Just make sure you keep your diary free between Feb 16-18 so you can attend. 

Everything from what to take, to safety and packing will be covered, arming you with the best knowledge and advice on how to best tackle that big journey you’ve always been dreaming of.

Nathan Millward, who famously rode a 105cc Honda Postie bike from Australia back to the UK will be talking about his experiences exploring Iceland, sharing the best places to visit along with just how to get there.

He’s pretty pumped with the guest speakers attending too; “It’s a line-up with probably some of the most experienced riders in the world with their bikes, and a right mixture of machinery, from sportsbike to regular style adventure bikes, to mopeds and scooters” he said. “We’re going to be talking about big trips, but also small trips. The message is getting out there on your own bike and in your own way.”

Joining him on the adventure stage will also be multiple world record holder and veteran global explorer, Nick Sanders, who will be talking about how he manages to cover massive distances in the way that he does. 

Acclaimed writer, Elspeth Beard, will be talking about her book; Lone Rider: The first British woman to motorcycle around the world. As well as talking about how she kept safe in times when women were often treated with less contempt than they are today.

For those who like to hit up Europe, RiDE magazine Editor, Simon Weir will be talking about the best places to ride, along with everything you could need to know to get the most out of exploring on the continent.

Ed March will also be talking about his global adventures aboard his trusty Honda C90, proving that you don’t need to re-mortgage your house to afford a bike that will take you around the globe. You can catch some of his exploits on his YouTube channel

Keeping things a little closer to home, Charlotte Murphy will be talking about exploring some of Scotland’s best offerings, including the much revered North Coast 500. Jimmy Kawasaki on the other hand, will be talking about riding UK trails, how to find them and what you’ll need. 

Desert explorer and author of Sahara Overland, Chris Scott will also be imparting his knowledge of riding through places like Morocco and sharing his wealth of experience on how to plan your next motorcycle adventure.

Talks will be taking place every half hour for the duration of the show and visitors will be free to visit the speakers and see some of the machinery that took them all over the world.
