Insurance firm and main sponsors of the upcoming MCN Ally Pally Show & Supersprint, Devitt, have hosted an online competition to find Britain’s best biking pet.
Riders were encouraged to upload pictures of their pets either dressed as bikers, or standing next to their bikes, with the owner of the best photograph winning a Kriega R20 backpack and a Shoei NXR helmet, courtesy of Boston-based clothing giants, Sportsbikeshop.

Over 50 dogs, cats and even a snake were entered into the contest, with the 12 animals receiving the most votes going through to the final.
In total, over 6000 votes were cast in the contest, with over 2000 going to the eventual winner alone; three-and-half-year-old Glasgow-based Bichon Frise Milly.
