Budding adventure rider? This might be of help…

Honda are offering a buy-one-get-one-half-price deal for their Honda Adventure Centre courses in November. Budding adventurers must go as a pair to take advantage of the offer, with the option to use a CRF1000L Africa Twin for the duration.

Run by former Motocross World Champion, Dave Thorpe, the two-day courses aim to help riders of all abilities get familiar or improve their riding off-road.

Three levels to becoming an off-road sensei

Level one is aimed at those who have very little or no prior off-road riding experience. The first day is dedicated to introducing riders to elements like new terrains, confidence building, body positioning and controlling and handling the bike. Students then take the balance and control learnings from day one, to practise in real situations as they explore the Welsh countryside on day two. The level two course further builds on the skills and techniques needed to ride a heavy machine off-road.

Course logistics

There are smaller alternatives to using the Africa Twin to complete your levels: An NC750X or a CB500X. Prices for the courses are £499 per person, with those taking advantage of the offer also eligible to have one half price place when two places are booked.I don’t understand? Please clarify. Lunch is included on both days and dinner after day one. You can also rent Fox riding kit, at an additional cost. Next month’s course dates are: November 2/3 and November 9/10.
