In one go: Triumph's Explorer tackles the road, off-road and motocross

We’re currently slap bang in the middle of teaser video season, but Triumph don’t have any teaser videos to show us apparently, so instead they’ve put together this video with their current Explorer 1200.

Since the Explorer is an adventure bike you might expect it to be some epic adventure video in the desert or in the back of beyond. You’d be wrong. Triumph decided to take their big, 1215cc Explorer to a go kart track and motocross track. Obviously.

TOP STORIES

Former British Trials champion and Erzberg finisher Martin Craven is the incredibly talented rider who’s able to back the 244kg adventure bike into corners and fling it around the sandy motocross track like it’s the easiest thing in the world. No, we’re not at all jealous.

And if you’re interested, Triumph are currently offering Explorer customers a £1,200 Personalisation Contribution towards their new bike which they can spend on clothing, accessories or towards Triumph’s insurance and finance packages. In addition to the contribution, Triumph have also extended the free aluminium pannier offer to all Explorer models.

The offer runs until December 31 and is part of their autumn offer across several models.

If you do take advantage of the offer, we recommend staying away from the motocross track for a little while and keeping the wheels firmly in line.
