Lewis Hamilton teased by his own team

Three-time Formula One World Champion and motorcycle enthusiast Lewis Hamilton was mocked by his Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team at the Monaco Grand Prix last weekend after leaving his MV Agusta in the pits.

Hamilton left his special edition LH44 MV Agusta Dragster RR in the pits, before his team posted a picture of him wheeling it away with the caption ‘Errrr… Lewis, you can’t leave that there mate.”

Not one to just push his bike out of the pits, the Mercedes AMG team then posted a video of Lewis performing a burnout in pit lane while on his way out.

Hamilton regularly uses his MV Agusta to get around the pits, and just a couple of days later tweeted a picture of himself signing autographs while sat astride the machine.

The MV Agusta Dragster RR LH44 was created by the Italian company with help from the F1 ace, and features Lewis Hamilton logos, alcantara seat, ergal brake levers, handlebars and fuel filler cap, and adjustable clip-ons. Hamilton’s own bike is fitted with an SC Project exhaust for some extra fruitiness.
