Suzuki GB will sponsor the 2017 Endurance Legends event at Donington Park, May 6-7, with the Japanese manufacturer planning a series of activities at the event alongside the support of Team Classic Suzuki.

Team Classic Suzuki will race at the event onboard the Suzuki Katana 1100 that was built during last year’s Motorcycle Live using parts from the Suzuki Vintage Parts Programme, with James Whitham, Steve Parrish and MCN’s own Michael Neeves sharing rider duties.

Suzuki will use the event to celebrate 20 years of the TL1000S, with an exclusive parade for owners of the machine. Alongside their TL1000S celebrations, Suzuki will also host their Hall of Fame, showcasing a series of key models from Suzuki’s history, including the original 1952 Power Free. Owners will also have the chance to display their bikes over the weekend. Head to the Endurance Legends website if you would like to display your bike.

Darin Frow, Endurance Legends event manager, said, “As classic bike owners and riders ourselves, to have Suzuki GB and its Vintage Parts Programme support Endurance Legends for the second time is incredible, and shows a level of commitment to the classic bike movement that can only be beneficial to us all. And to have them race with us with their own Team Classic Suzuki Katana is simply priceless. The 6-7 May is going to be a truly special weekend at Donington Park, and we can’t wait to see all the action.”
