Hot from the world launch in Almeria last week, Yamaha has confirmed the stunning new R6 will be on the firm’s test ride fleet at the Carole Nash MCN Festival of Motorcycling on May 13-14.

The R6 impressed the international press with its breathtaking chassis proclaiming it one of the best handling bikes of the year. The laser focused middleweight is sure to be busy over the Festival weekend but don’t worry, Yamaha are also bringing along fifteen other 2017 models to try!

Yamaha have some incredible new models this year, not least the MT-10SP with it’s Ohlins electronic suspension and colour TFT display, plus all the electronics, slipper clutch, and quick shifter from the standard MT. The original bike was already brilliant, the SP has moved the hyper naked bar even higher.

The XV950R, XSR700 and SCR950 from the firm’s Sport Heritage range encapsulates the retro vibe that’s perfect for the rural test route around the Peterborough Showground. For those after more of an Urban scoot the TMax DX and D’elight fits the bill.
