MCN Festival commits to future at East of England Arena

The Carole Nash MCN Festival of Motorcycling will remain at the East of England Arena for the annual two-day event until 2019.

The MCN Festival launched in 2015 as the ultimate-outdoor motorcycle event, with test rides, live action, bargains and manufacturer stands.

Since then the event has grown each year and in 2017 even featured a full round of the UK Speedway Championship.

2017 also saw over 50 models from six different manufacturers available for test rides over the course of the weekend, with Ducati also bringing along their popular Multistrada Experience.

Rob Aherne, Managing Director of Motorcyling, Bauer Media Group, said: “Since first launching this event at the arena, it has grown year on year, and the East of England Arena is still able to accommodate the whole festival, from speedway races to camping facilities, with capacity to spare.

“The venue is unique in its ability to offer a suitable environment for the vitally important test drive sessions run by our manufacturer exhibitors, and we’ve seen the popularity of test drives improve dramatically as a result. A deeper commitment helps us to plan ahead and manage costs more effectively, whilst giving our exhibitors a consistent platform with plenty of opportunity for expanding their presence and activities at the event.”
