Woman rides over six-year-old girl in China

A woman in China has been filmed riding her scooter over a six-year-old child.

The video shows the woman, from the Guangdong province in south China, riding over the crying and screaming girl as her own daughter tries to pull her to safety.

The woman is believed to be the partner of the girl’s grandfather and was tasked with looking after the girl – as well as her own son and daughter – while her partner and the girl’s father were at work.

In an article on thepaper.cn the woman claimed it was an accident after she lost control of the scooter when her son, sitting on the front seat, started to cry.

The child was found to have suffered internal bleeding and is now believed to be with her father.
