Yamaha releases range of celebratory snowmobiles

Yamaha are good at many things: saxophones, drum kits, pianos etc. but we mostly know them for their motorcycles and they’re good at making those too.

It turns out they’re also dab hands at making snowmobiles (don’t worry, we had to Google them too – they’re sort of like a motorcycle crossed with a tank that you ride on snow), so to celebrate 50 years of snowmobile manufacture Yamaha have released a special range.

Very cool and all Yamaha, naming your new model after the old SnoScoot but we can’t help but think SnoScoot would have been an awesome snow bike, like the explorer Triumph made. Snowmobiles eh? What next? Four-wheeled boxes multiple people can sit in?
