Be a development test rider for the new Vanguard prototype

New motorcycle company Vanguard, who unveiled their striking Roadster prototype in December, are running a competition to find three test riders to join the development team for a day and give feedback on the machine – the only catch is that you’ll have to get yourself to New York.

CEO Francois-Xavier Terny commented: “We’re expecting valuable and honest feedback from these riders so we can deliver on our promise – an exceptional premium motorcycle at a reachable price.”

The Roadster, which Vanguard are hoping to have completed by 2018, features a unique modular construction that will allow the company to produce three models in time. It is based on a frameless design that features an integrated exhaust.

The initial run of bikes will be limited to 200 machines, with the company stating that their intention is to market the motorcycle at US$30,000. Terny claims: “We can do this because of our integrated design that cut the number of parts, our advance sourcing strategies and modern approach to manufacturing.”

The completion is open now and will run until February 28, with the winners being announced on March 3.
