Suzuki are hosting a trackday at Silverstone on Monday 4 September, with a stellar cast of riders taking to the iconic GP circuit where attendees can meet and be taught by some of the best in the business.

Bennetts Suzuki British Superbike rider and former World Superbike Champion Sylvain Guintoli will be in attendance along with team-mates Richard Cooper and Taylor Mackenzie, as well as Motovudu track instructor and 500 Grand Prix race-winner Simon Crafar.

Joining Crafar on the circuit and offering tips and riding advice will be ex-racer and popular TV presenter James Whitham, along with Glen Richards and Dean Skipper.

“We’re really excited to be going back to Silverstone for this year’s all-star track day, and it’s great to again be using the full GP layout; it’s one of the best circuits to ride in the world,” said Suzuki GB marketing manager, Rob Cooper.

“It’s a great opportunity for us all to learn a thing or two about circuit riding from those that race Suzukis and instruct on GSX-R1000s for a living, hopefully making us all faster and safer on track. It’s going to be another great event and one we’re all really looking forward to.”

If that wasn’t enough, Buildbase Suzuki rider and rising star Bradley Ray and Superstock rider Alex Olsen will also be on hand.

Three time BSB champion John Reynolds will be available to talk about his role in the development of the new GSX-R1000 and will be offering advice to riders.

Finally, Barry Sheene’s son, Freddie will be among the special guests gracing the circuit on the day.

Places on the day are open to all riders with three group choices available depending on experience and ability. A place on the trackday will cost £199 and can be booked via Silverstone’s website.
