Video: The terrifying moment a biker rode off a mountain

An onboard camera recorded the terrifying moment a 27-year-old American motorcyclist failed to make a corner and plunger 250ft down the side of a mountain.

Matthew Murray was riding his Yamaha MT-10 in the mountains surrounding Santa Monica, California when he claimed his “motorcycle wouldn’t turn,” and he was sent careering off the edge of the road and down the mountain side.

Matther tried to call for help, but when nobody heard his cries he figured the only way to survive was to climb back up the mountain to the side of the road, where a passing motorist helped him out.
