Aprilia offer test rides around Silverstone

Fancy taking a new Aprilia out on track?

Of course you do. And now you have the opportunity.

Aprilia are offering the chance to ride either their RSV4 RF or the Tuono V4 Factory around Silverstone next week.

It means you get to test them in a way which otherwise would be very difficult, it’s not often that you get the chance to ride the motorcycles in the environment which they were designed for before purchase.

The monstrous 198bhp RSV4 RF’s 180kg weight and accurate handling make the bike very easy to ride fast with a sonorous V4 engine that will pull to 13,500rpm

The Tuono V4 Factory has been revamped this year, with the engine capacity increasing to 1100cc. It stomps out 172bhp and a heady 88ft-lb of torque, with Ohlins taking care of suspension. It’s a bike that our Senior Road Tester, Adam Child was raving about at its launch the other week.

The bikes will be available to test ride at Silverstone on May 5, with two time slots available of 9:00am or 12:00pm. 

Riders must be in possession of a full UK motorcycle licence, with no more than 6 penalty points and must be over the age of 25 to be eligible to ride. The nature of track riding also means that they will be required to wear either one, or two-piece leathers.
