Have a chance to race against the Lowes twins this weekend

Think you’re faster than Sam and Alex Lowes? You could get the chance to prove it at an open day in Lincolnshire this weekend – and you don’t even have to risk an injury.

The pair of world championship racers will be setting times on Lincolnshire clothing dealer Sportsbikeshop’s TT Superbike classic arcade machine – and your challenge is to beat them.

It’ll cost 50p a go to try and beat the twins’ times and all proceeds from the arcade machine will be donated to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

The 26-year-olds will be visiting from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, November 19 and will be on hand to chat with fans, sign autographs and pose for selfies.

There will also be a free raffle to win a Shark Race-R Pro helmet signed by Sam and Alex, who race in Moto2 and World Superbikes respectively.

Sportsbikeshop’s store manager Ash Currie said: “Sam and Alex are world-class racers and we’re really looking forward to getting them down here for the day. We’re planning plenty for them to do and we’d like to see the place rammed with people to give them a proper welcome.”

Sportsbikeshop’s new warehouse and retail shop, which stocks over 10,000 motorcycling products, is easily accessible from the main A16 at Kirton, just south of Boston.
