Video: Motorcyclist races parrot

Video has emerged from Thailand of a wild parrot joining a young motorcyclist for an impromptu race.

23-year-old Tong Wiwatsunthon was riding his monkey bike in Chiang Rai when he was joined by the wild macaw at around 40mph.

The unlikely duo travelled side-by-side – with the parrot almost landing on Tong’s head several times – before the parrot continued on its own journey.

This of course begs the question; when will a video appear of a Suzuki Hayabusa riding alongside a Peregrine Falcon (Hayabusa in Japanese)? Or, a little closer to home, a pigeon racing a Honda CB125F?
