Honda let tattoo artist Dan Gold loose on a CB650

Most people would say tattoos and motorcycles go together hand-in-hand, but they probably never expected Honda to take it so literally. Honda UK invited tattoo artist Dan Gold to completely cover a CB650 over two days at Motorcycle Live recently.

The London-based tattoo artist has tattooed such names as Kate Moss, Britney Spears and BSB champion Shane Byrne, but the CB650 represented a different challenge all together.

A Honda spokesperson said:” Dan’s a petrolhead.  He loves his fast bikes and fast cars. He’s also a fantastic artist. All of his work is freehand and we thought, what better canvas for Dan to express himself on than a bike? To watch the bike take shape on the stand at Motorcycle Live was a stunning sight to see.

“The bike is going to be displayed in the window of Dan’s gallery, along with a couple of Shark helmets that he’s painted in the same, traditional tattoo theme.”
