See exclusive Joey Dunlop tribute at the London Show

Incredible collection of Dunlop memorabilia comes to London

1 of 3

This year’s Carole Nash MCN London Show – which takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week at London’s ExCel – will be headlined by a tribute to the greatest road-racer of all time – Joey Dunlop.

This is the first time there has been such a significant tribute collection in England, and the Dunlop family have been heavily involved in bringing the collection of Joey’s bikes and other memorabilia together.

His greatest ever win came in 2000, his 32nd year of racing, in what was to be his final TT appearance. His victory in the F1 race on a totally new, ill-handling Honda SP-1, which he had hardly ridden before, was his crowning glory in a career that saw him take 26 TT wins, 24 Ulster Grand Prix titles and 13 victories at the North West 200.

This collection of bikes and memorabilia has never been seen outside of Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, and includes leathers, helmets, personal effects and key bikes. His 1988 Honda RC30, 1991 Harris Honda CBR600, 1999 Harris Honda CBR600, 1999 Honda RC45, 2000 Honda RS250 and 2000 Honda SP-1 will take center stage. It’s very unlikely that such a collection will be assembled again so don’t miss your chance to see this remarkable exhibition at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle show.
