London Show kicks off this Friday!

February 12-14 is your chance to take part in one of the biggest motorcycling events of the year as we head to the capital for the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show.

The latest and greatest new metal

From the blistering GSX-R1000 L7 to the A2 licence friendly BMW G310R, all the important new models will be at the show and with all major bike brands now confirmed the range and diversity of machines on show will huge and appeal to all tastes and budgets.

Exclusive tribute to TT icon Joey Dunlop

One of the major highlights of the show is the exclusive Joey Dunlop tribute, an incredible display to honour the greatest real roads racer of all time. MCN has worked with the Dunlop family to bring together six of his key race bikes and a huge collection and memorabilia that made Joey’s career so special. The bikes include a freshly restored Honda SP1 that Joey took to victory in the 2000 Formula One TT. It’s unlikely that this collection of bikes and family memorabilia will ever be assembled again, so make sure you don’t miss it.

BSB legends re-united with their bikes

We’ll also be celebrating 20 years of British Superbikes (in it’s current guise) and as part of the celebrations, there will be a range of the most iconic bikes on display, we’ll also be reuniting some of the machines with their former riders.
BSB legends Neil Hodgson, Chris Walker, John Reynolds, Niall Mackenzie and Tommy Hill will all be taking part in stage interviews and autograph sessions alongside TT icon John McGuinness. All the racing stars will also be taking part in ‘Slide’, the live action race where the riders go handlebar-to-handlebar sliding sideways around the specially constructed course.

See the cream of Europe’s classic and customs

As if racing stars, one-of-kind displays and thrilling live action wasn’t enough we will also have jaw dropping classic and custom zones for you to explore. Each will be packed with plenty to see and do from watching a live bike restoration by the National Motorcycle Museum or checking out the winning bikes in this year’s Classic bike of the year. And don’t miss 50 of Europe’s best customs machines as they fight for glory (and a massive £12,000 prize purse) in the London Custom Bike Championship.

Bid on a classic and get great deals on new kit

If you’ve got the hankering for a classic or want to add to your collection we will also be hosting the inaugural London motorcycle auction. In association with Coys, the auctions vast range of over 100 bikes spans nine decades and is bringing together a host of both beautiful and rare bikes with a particular focus to Italian road and race machinery.
